Mallorca is the jewel in the Mediterranean

A scenic dream, sensationally diverse and equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The idyllic town of Sóller is located in the middle of the Tramuntana mountains, a World Heritage Site on the northwest coast, around 25 km from the capital Palma de Mallorca, with the port of Port de Sóller just off the coast.

Lively Spanish town

Sóller, a lively town in the heart of the Tramuntana, is characterized by historic townhouses, traditional country estates and elegant villas. Sóller excelled in the international citrus trade in the 18th and 19th centuries. Oranges in particular thrived here, which is why Sóller is also known as the Vall de Naranjas, or Valley of Oranges.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the construction of the train from Palma to Sóller was realized, “the Red Lightning”. Shortly afterwards, the traditional wooden streetcar followed, which runs from Sóller to the port and is always worth a trip!

Sóller – the modernist highlight of Spain

Sóller’s cosmopolitan lifestyle has led to it becoming one of the country’s modernist highlights. It is also characterized by the fact that it is mainly local Mallorcans who live in the town and preserve the charm of Mallorca.

Among the many houses and buildings in Art Nouveau style is the church of Sant Bartomeu in the town square.

A vacation full of possibilities

It is an ideal location for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing, swimming or visiting the historic museums and facilities, and Son Termens Golf Club is just a 20-minute drive away. The town has a fine selection of restaurants and bars and the local Saturday market is thriving.

Sóller celebrates popular annual festivals such as Es Firó and offers cultural events such as the Classical Music Festival in the port of Sóller

Deià, Valldemossa and Fornalutx

Port de Sóller is located in the immediate vicinity of the towns of Deià, Valldemossa and Fornalutx – well-known names on Mallorca that all have one thing in common. Mediterranean flair amidst the beautiful landscapes of the Tramuntana, lush vegetation and a wonderful starting point for a feel-good vacation.

Be it exploring the natural bays and beaches or extensive hikes and bike tours or trips by boat or ferry.

Accommodation in Tramuntana

Each of our accommodations is unique. And yet they all combine modern and stylish furnishings with Mallorcan charm. Whether it’s the sea with its cliffs right in front of the window, which lets your gaze wander over the open sea and the harbor, or being in the middle of the city and always close to the action, while still relaxing in the garden and by the pool. But you can also enjoy life on the traditional Mallorcan farm “Olivar” with its donkeys among the many olive trees in the Tramuntana mountains.
